LLTNP has two live tenders supporting their Landscape Connections initiative – a major collaborative effort across The Great Trossachs Forest, Wild Strathfillan and the Loch Lomond Rainforest.

Woodland Mosaic Review

We’re seeking an ecological consultant to help identify the next priorities for woodland restoration across this landscape. The work involves reviewing existing evidence, analysing reports and datasets, assessing knowledge gaps and engaging with key land managers and community representatives to understand local priorities.

Missing Species Review

We’re also tendering for an ecological consultant to identify the species needed to support woodland restoration. This includes reviewing literature and datasets, producing longlists and shortlists of threatened, rare and absent native wildlife, and assessing where reintroduction or reinforcement may be appropriate.
