How can you look after this globally rare habitat?

Before making any management changes to your woodland you should:

• Take stock of what you have (refer to Plantlife’s Rapid Rainforest Assessment and survey form)

• Consider how altering management across the whole of your property might benefit Scotland’s rainforest

• An approved Long Term Forest Plan (LTFP) is required for larger areas of woodland and where seeking access to the Forestry Grant Scheme

• Contact an organisation belonging to the ASR for more advice.
