INVITATION TO TENDER: Saving Scotland’s Rainforest impact reporting
We are looking for an experienced communications specialist to facilitate the creation of compelling products to tell the story of the impact of the Saving Scotland’s Rainforest project.
When the ASR officially launched in early 2021, there was little awareness that rainforest existed in Scotland. Since then, the profile of Scotland’s rainforest has increased significantly, nine landscape-scale rainforest restoration projects have been set up, and three external projects that tackle some of the most pressing challenges are in progress. This work has attracted about £10 million, which has enabled rainforest restoration to get started in some of the project areas, and there are now about 100 people actively working together across several working groups making all this happen (see appendix for more information).
We want to present the progress that has been made in an attractive, inspiring format that aims to motivate key audiences to continue to support this work. As well as reporting on progress, it needs to emphasise the challenges ahead if we are to achieve our aim to restore all of Scotland’s rainforest by 2045.
