Saving Scotland’s rainforest with natural capital finance

Niall Benvie/WTML

This 18-month project began in November 2023. It is scoping out how natural capital finance could be funnelled into rainforest restoration projects in a way that has positive benefits for rainforest biodiversity and the people living and working there.

The project is being led by Argyll Coast and Countryside Trust working with a team of ASR organisations. We are grateful to FIRNS (Facility for Investment Ready Nature Scotland) for fully funding this work.
