Donald Kennedy
Donald is a contractor and partner in the Lever & Mulch Partnership based in Morvern. He has been working to remove the invasive non native shrub Rhododendron ponticum from native woodlands across the west coast for more than 15 years.
“Rhododendron is incredibly invasive…commonly we come across perhaps 1000 seedlings in a square metre. Once they close canopy they suffocate a rainforest. The only control that we have over them is us.”
